Need tech help

[Superstition]

I just dl uo classic client on my newer comp that running windows 7. After install when i open it uo to patch it it says "You may be able to play the game with your current client" and doesn't update or let me login. It just lets me use the cancel tab instead of hitting ok to proceed to logging in.

Any ideas what could be causing this problem??

Are you double clicking the icon / start menu option it created, or manually browsing and running the executable from the UO folder?

delete the partially downlaoded patch and let it re-patch, you're hung up mid patching.
