Hi everyone,
Getting ready to imbue some weapons for my sampire and i'm curious if i should go with a broadsword/longsword with 30% SSI or with a leafblade with UBWS. I have enough SSI on other gear to make it that i only need 150 stamina to swing the leafblade at max so no need for ssi on it.

Is feint worth going with the leafblade route, or should i stick with the broadsword/longsword, for the crushing blow or concussion blow and slightly higher base damage?

To make the Long Sword swing at max swing speed, you need 180+ stamina and 35 SSI. You can make a Broadsword work with 150+ Stamina and 35 SSI.

With 180+ stamina and 0 SSI you can swing a Leafblade at max swing speed.

I think you should make sure you can swing whatever you use at Max SSI. If you have a legendary swordsman, I would try one of the swords as they are both strong AI weapons.

I have 10% SSI on other gear (ranger cloak and turquoise ring) so swinging at max speed with either long sword or broadsword wouldn't be an issue. I'm really curious if the defensive bonus from feint is worth it tho. Mmm guess i need to hit up TC1 before i use up my imbue mats.

IMO, if you run parry on your suit with 45 DCI, then probably not. If you don't have parry, then it is not a bad idea. These are two very different tactics while you fight. Both can be successful.

BTW, you are talking about running this on a sampire of some sort? My advice might be different if you aren't using life leech from Vamp Embrace.

yes this is for a sampire, she has 115 parry currently and 43% DCI. Think i will go with the broadswords for now. I'll probably end up making a fencing sampire on my other account lol.

Thanks for the suggestions.
