I was doing some MIB's and was sailing to my next target. I had gotten kinda bored and wasnt paying enough attention and i got killed by a pirate ship, of course they destroyed my little classic ship after killing me. In not a very smart move I hadn't insured my ship key and the boat had been in the water for a couple months and at some point for some reason I had thrown out the extra in the bank. Luckily I had another boat in the water but unluckily it was on the other side of the world. Of course by the time I was able to sail back to it my corpse had vanished along with all my new fishing artis and new pre chest loot from about 30 or so MIBs. I thought well atleast I still have another 50 plus MIBs in the hold. For some reason it said I couldnt access the hold so I thought maybe I need to repair the ship to some degree. I bought what 3000 cloth along with 45 boards but it's not giving me the option to emergency repair the ship. I said all that to get to a pretty simple question. What exactly do you need to do emergency repairs?

Need Some Help Repairing a Ship

Update: I finally got it to allow me to do emergency repairs but now it still wont let me in the hold of the ship. Whats up with that?

Most Pirate ships are patrolling either east of Jhelom, or south of Trinsic.
If you are doing Mibs, try to avoid these particular areas if possible.

Thanks I learned that the hard way but evidentely since I lost the key to my boat when I died I can no longer access the hold which has over 50 MIBs in it

You should have a spare key in your character's bank box. If your ship was destroyed, then i'm sorry i can't help you with that. Maybe someone else knows the options available when that happens.

if you get emergency repairs done as you said, take it to shore and page a gm to open the hold...might work..but without the key i think your seriously SOL
I did emergency repairs to get it to shore then did full repairs once i got there. I paged a gm but havent received a response yet. Its just a cheap classic boat I dunno why anyone would go through the trouble to page a gm just to get into the hold of one. I can even tell the gm exactly what is in the hold if I ever get a response.

Thanks Caer but i dont play on atlantic i play on lake austin. I did finally get a response from a gm it was just a canned "check out the role of a gm" response though
