Need help with Ventrillo. Can hear but can't talk.

I need help with Ventrillo. I can hear but I can't talk apparently. I've tried holding the hot key for speaking and doesn't work. I have a Dell Optiplex with Windows 10. Not sure what to do. I've tried messing with all the different settings and nothing works. Thank you.

I am sure you have already tried these things, but try running as an administrator, change the hot key, look at your audio settings and make sure you have the correct speakers/headset set up (sometimes it changes on its own).
