Need assistance in getting back ancestral gravestone

Hello,

I would like to get some assistance from the UO team. I purchased yesterday the 11th years collection on origin, and I started placing the deco items in my house.

I placed the gravestone, along with most other items from the package, but wasn't satisfied with the placement, I wanted it down one square.

So I un-secure the gravestone, pick it with my mouse, move it down, and release. You know, the usual combo when you wanna move something around.

But the gravestone just vanished. It didnt popped back into original place, and didnt appeared on the wanted spot either.

I checked my inventory, I pressed control and shift, and zoomed at max, and went thru every tag, and couldnt find it.

I checked the moving crate, under the sign, no gravestone anywhere.

I tried to page a GM, but got no answer to the 3 or 4 times I've tried since it happened yesterday.

I lost a soulstone as well when I first purchased one. I put it down, my son started to cry, so I went to see him, came back, was disconnected, and the soulstone decayed. Fun stuff.

I got told there was nothing that could be done. The GM saw the legacy token purchase, but couldnt find the item anywhere. I found that harsh treatment for someone that was still new to game, was about 1 or 2 months in.

So I paid 10$ to learn that I forgot to lock down a paid item, and it simply vanished, in my own house, in 15-20 mins...

I know that a GM will likely tell me the same for the gravestone anyway, so I ask here.

The soulstone was part my fault, but I did nothing wrong with the gravestone, it just vanished. So I won't accept the same answer I got previously.

I would really appreciate a soulstone replacement as well. You can see my purchase order, and see how many soulstones I have in my possession, you can come up to the conclusion that I'm missing one.

I said nothing about the revert. I play a lot, lost a lot of time I put into the game. Fortunately, I didnt lost any game breaking items I gained or whatever, it was mostly time, and lots of skills down.

Thank you very much for looking into this when any of you have some time. I understand this might be a bad time to expect any answer shortly, but ... I'd like to hear from someone within a few days.

I can't help you with the legacy soulstone, but I'd be more than happy to -gift- you a soulstone fragment and a new ancestral gravestone on Atlantic. Just send me a PM with your contact info or post it in this thread.

Hmm, actually, yes, my house is public, but only the outside of the plot is. The house is set to myself only, same as my teleporters.

But, have it been the case, I would have seen it appear, then disappear, right? And the guy would have popped up?

But it's not the case...

Assia, Thank you very much for the offer. I couldnt accept such an offer. I wanted my ancestral gravestone reimbursed by EA... I can't accept one that you paid for :(

Bazer, you just mentionned that is was before the locking stuff down. Try it, leave one sitting by and log off a few. You'll bite your fingers.

In the end, all is right now. I didnt recovered my lost soulstone. Its been a while now anyway, I sort of went over it... but still, I want to point out that for things that people buy, specially when you see someone is new to game, maybe give them benefit of doubt and allow ONE reimbursement. After that, the guy should be aware of the risk. But I wasn't. I wouldnt expect to even be able to lose something I paid for.

I recovered my ancestral gravestone. For some really weird reasons, it ended up in my ingots chest down on the floor outside my house. I was moving that gravestone on the 3rd floor. That chest isnt even visible while there.. really odd.

I came to discover it, since I was doing some deco, and wanted to spill some ingots around a bit, to make it look like there have been work recently here :)

Thanks all that let their thoughts in, see you all in game :)

An happy Silvaris and Elandril from Atlantic!

It really isn't a hardship for me as I get them in my shop often from buying them in-game from other players. Same with the soulstone fragment. My offer stands. *smiles* I am financially comfortable enough that I am able to help people out like this and I enjoying doing so. I can understand you wanting EA to replace them, but if they do not... my offer stands. Please consider it if it doesn't work out. They'll come an opportunity when you'll be in my position and you'll be able to do it for someone else.

Even if the doors are set only to you you should always detect hidden unless the entire building is private.. people can stealth in when you open the door.
