Necromancer (invasion master)

When I hit necromancer I loose HP.

Where can I find information about this ability? (how it works? how damage is calculated? how reduce the damage?)

Is it the same ability that shame level 5 mages have?

I do know that if you leech life (from weapon, vamp form, spells, etc) you take damage instead of gaining it. when using a weapon with out life leech, I do not loose life when I hit him.

Maby just get out of vamp form when killing this one ?.
I'm using a plain samurai, no vamp form, no curse weapon, and no life leech on weapon either.. And i have 0 problems with this one
