@Necro Tamers and Twisted Weald

To the other Necro Tamers out there,

I recently stoned off meditation and added Necro and SS.

My template is Magery, EI, 40 Med, Necro/SS (working on it), Vet, Taming

I often like to go to Twisted Weald to see what color/stat CU Sidhe's are up..

But Necro ruins my karma and the Fey will soon attack if I totally indulge in the new necro spells.

How do those of you who are necro tamers deal with this? Doesn't seem feasable to chain invis in there. Just too many little things will get ya. I'm wondering if this could be a dead end to the Cu Sidhe's for me..

Work your karma up before you go in and hold off on the necro spells. Kill every changeling you can to offset any necro spells you do use, though for working cus you shouldn't have too much trouble.

I burn karma like crazy when I go provoking cu's to turn the spawn over, but I offset it by killing balrons or other high end mobs in between.

You may find it easier if you had hide and stealth soulstoned so you could put them on your tamer before those scouting trips, but a necro isn't the best template to run past pixies with

about 20 minutes in the painted caves will take care of your karma.

ive been going to painted caves for a while, never really put the 2 together. i went there the other night for an hour and was the only 'illustrious lady' necro on the server lol. til I sacraficed the lady title, and then went 'rude' again doing spawns ))

someone told me all necro spells were more powerful with negative karma. is that true? i'd previously read there was only one spell which was more powerful with neg karma. i think it was the wisp familiar or something.

thanks for the info tho, or if there are any other tricks let me know

I've got a necromancer too and he is on a constant karma rollercoaster-trip. I think he has pretty much covered all possible titles in the game, karma- and fame-wise.
I kinda enjoy the variation - one morning 'dastardly', next morning 'commendable'. Not so often 'Glorious' I have admit

Anyways, it's not that much trouble getting from lowest karma to neutral, which is all you need to keep the pixies and, even more important, the dryads on your good side.
I can't imagine you'll be using necro spells much while taming cu sidhes? So staying on the positive karma scale shouldn't be too much of a problem.

While we are at it: Running through the forest lord spawn is also a bad idea when your karma has the wrong 'colour'.

Just pre-cast an invis before you enter the Weald. Teleport in, target self. Precast invis, run till you're targeted, target self, repeat.
