Necro Question

I havent seen anyone post this before, so heres my question...

Might it be a valid strategy to have whatever amount of necro in a soulstone, then put it in your character, give yourself vampiric embrace, take it out, and go about your day with your obviously tight template? I'm just curious why nobody has mentioned it before... other than if you died you would lose your form, but if you have alot of soulstones like me... Anyone agree, disagree?

Also, its a PvM template.

You'd be better off getting +necro items, and then training necromancy up to 24 skill in order to obtain the 99 skill required to cast vampiric embrace. It saves you from having to wait 24 hours everytime you die to swap necro in and out to recast.

You can equip:
+20 Midnight Bracers
+10 Ossian Grimoire
+10 Mark of Travesty
+15 Ring
+15 Bracelet
+5 Bloodwood Talisman

Equip, cast, take off. I'm sure there have been plenty of topics on this in the forum, but I just happened to be stopping by so I figured I'd answer the question.

If it's PvM you probably won't be dying much (and thus won't need to recast vamp form). If the skill you gain from it is worth the inconvenience of soulstoning skills on and off, go for it!

Btw, the 24 skill thing everyone throws around requires a fairly large investment in terms of gold. Definitely not easily attainable for everybody.

I'm a Sampire (Bushido, Vamp) and this is exactly how I do it, with the SoulStoning ... It gets old ... I mean I mostly PvM so I don't die alot, but when I do it sucks, I can cast it back on, but then I am pretty much without if I die again. If you can manage to buy the +Necro items, I would imagine thats the way to do it. It does get expensive though, I'm slowly trying to collect the items myself.

The only real expensive item is the Mark of Travesty. Everything else is fairly easily obtained. You can even get a cursed midnight bracers for a lot cheaper and just use that.
