Ok... so... hypothetically speaking... if you were to, let's say, own a site and want to branch off and make a subsite... what would you call it?

For the sake of consistency in responses, let's say the site is called something like UO Modders Exchange.
This site is geared towards more technically inclined people who make things (let's call them "skins" and "mods"... or maybe "user interfaces") that can be very useful to those who are less technically inclined.
You want to make a secondary site that is geared towards those less technically inclined people, so that they can download the previously specified things easily.
The URL of the current site is http://uo.modders-exchange.net, and you want the new URL to be http://something.modders-exchange.net (where something is the new name, or something easily linked to the new name for people to remember).
You may or may not be able to have it ready by the end of next weekend.

So what would you call such a new site? Hypothetically speaking.

Well, if the new part of the site is only going to be for downloading, you could go with something simple like downloads.modders-exchange.net

I want to keep the domain open for use with other games in the future (for example, if I for some crazy reason decide to play WoW again and get into modding there, I can make a wow.modders-exchange.net).

Would downloads.uo.modders-exchange.net be too cumbersome? If I went this way, I'd make a downloads.modders-exchange.net page, but have it just be a "You probably want downloads.uo.modders-exchange.net" page with a link.

And what would the actual name of the page be?
"UO:EC Custom User Interface Downloads"?
"UO:EC Custom UI Downloads"?
"UO:EC Custom Interface Downloads"?
"UO:EC User Interface Downloads"?
"UO:EC UI Downloads"?
"UO:EC Skin Downloads"?
"UO:EC Mod Downloads"?
Any of the above with ", by the UO Modders Exchange" added to the end?
Any of the above with ":EC" changed to " Enhanced Client"?

I'm not particularly fond of using "Skin" or "Mod", because they both imply something more specific than what is actually going to be made available. "Skin" typically means just changing the L&F, where "Mod" typically means adding on or changing functionality, but not changing the overall L&F... but at the same time "Interface" is a rather technical term.
They're called "Custom UI" in the client, so I'm kind of leaning towards that.

For the sake of making sure that the regular user visiting the site does not get confused, I would go with
UO:Enhanced Client Custom User Interface Downloads

I know its a mouthful, but that way noone gets confused or misunderstands what is there.

As for the address, you could go with uodownloads.modders-exchange.net and that leaves it open for you for other games.

Going to go with...
UO Enhanced Client Custom User Interface Downloads
http://downloads.uo.modders-exchange.net

With download.uo, uo.download, uo.downloads, uodownloads, uodownload, downloaduo, and downloadsuo all giving an error page pointing people to the right one (just in case).

Now I just need some styling for the page...
