Name that Shard + Country!

I was bored and looking at the shard list today and I began to wonder exactly where each shard was located, and which geographical area of the world do they cater too. There a some that I know, some that I don't. I would like to use this thread to find out exactly where each EA server is located on the planet and which audience that plays them. If you are as bored as me, you can help me figure out where each one is.

I'll begin by providing the list of the ones I know and the ones I don't.

Atlantic
Legends
Lake Superior
Great Lakes
Chesapeake
Catskills
Siege Perilous

Pretty sure these are all East Coast USA servers. I have heard they are in New York. Anyone remember, or could clarify?

Origin
Pacific
Sonoma
Lake Austin
Baja
Napa Valley

I believe there are all West Coast USA servers that reside in California. Please correct if wrong.

Europa
Drachenfels

I'm pretty sure these are the only two shards dedicated to a European audience. I have no idea where they are located.

Oceania

I think this one is the only Austrailian shard of UO. No idea where it is.

Hokuto
Formosa
Izumo
Mizuho
Yamato
Asuka
Arirang
Balhae
Sakura

These are the ones I know the least about. I would love to find out exactly where each of these are (geographically).

Years ago I heard of EA moving all shards to Austin Texas. Don't know if it was true or not. But given average pings and distance, it makes me think that they are seperated geographically to support their customer base.
I live on east coast so I ping better to east coast servers. When I take a trip out to California, I ping worse to the east coast servers and better to the west coast.

Anyone wanna help me figure out exaclty which shards are korean/japenese/chinese? Please help me find out where each one/group is located!

Arirang and Balhae are the two Koren shards. I think all of the others are located in Japan.

Hopefully someone will pull up a link, but all of this is somewhere on UO.com and here on Stratics I believe.

European servers are in London I think, Europa at least.

The East Coast US shards are in Virginia
The West Coast US Shards are in San Jose, California
Oceania I believe is in Sydney
Formosa in Taipei
Korean shards in Seoul
Japanese shards in Japan (Not sure where)
Euro shards I am pretty sure are in London

Interesting Trivia - Napa Valley and Sonoma are named for the same area of California (Sonoma California, home of one of the Nascar Road races, is in the Napa Valley technically. Sonoma County and Napa County border each other. Both are North of Redwood Shores.)

Approximately 6 miles up the road from me, yet I still play Siege...

The Oceania server is in Parramatta, which is on the outskirts of Sydney.

Every time they bring down the east coast servers, I get to twiddle me thumbs, cuz I play Chesapeake and Siege both, and both are east coast sharded located thus brung down together. Hrmm.

If the servers are located at EA/Mythic then it would be Fairfax, VA.

I don't think it's Fairfax, Stratic, I think it's Herndon. EA contracts with someone to house the servers, and east coast servers have been located in Virginia since long before the merger with Mythic.
