We're at a little of 400,000 points so far, since the 2nd Place winner never claimed their points... Halfway to the next raffle!

I'm a tad confused...who ended up with the 13 million reward?

The rule for the money from the book sales was that all the books needed to sell during the main event. They didn't all sell until three days later, so I'm holding the gold until I'm either told to donate it or use it for the next raffle's prize money. I did this purposefully to promote people coming to the main event, one big gathering, instead of a trickling effect.

You you please show me where the "rules" for this are? I think there are some discrepencies over the "buy all the books on the first day" part.

My rule was, like the last one, that if all the books sold during the event, which was that night at 8pm EST, that the cash would be distributed amongst the winners. They did not all sell during the events timeframe, so I decided to leave the books on and let them sell, and hold the gold until our next auction event, which would double up the cash prize. I figured it would draw more interest to the next one.

I have the gold sitting in my home, awaiting the next time we reach 800k points donated so that I can hold the auction again.

Since I've been busy with rl, my husband getting a job and health issues, I haven't been hosting the spawns each week myself. However, you are all more than welcome to continue them and just send me and ICQ and I'll get all proceeds donated so we can continue everything

If you'd like though, Buck, I could give you your cash prizes since you own two of the prizes. One winner never stepped forward, but I'd hate for people to think I was being scammy.

We were under the impression when we bought the 19 books that the monies went directly to the zoo, whether it be by the people who won it or whether it be by you. That is why we bought them and the only reason we bought them.

We would never have bought the last of the books 2 days later if we had known the rules had changed and the money was going to be held and not donated. The first event and the second event threads clearly did not state they had to be sold on the first night, just that they had to be ALL sold. At the time, we were about to make a direct donation to the zoo, but decided our timing was such that we would donate via the books instead.

Since we did win first and third place, we feel we should have a say and we want that money donated to the zoo either by you, us, or a third party.

Okay, no problem at all It's my bad for wording the rules poorly. If you'd like, I can personally hand you the entire 40m to donate yourselves, or I can donate it with you standing right there Just let me know.

I had made another post afterward asking if I should hold it for the next raffle or if I should donate it, and no one answered, so I decided to be safe and hold it so no one could accuse me of anything.

I think that, because of all the confusion with this raffle, we will not be having anymore. We'll just have the spawns, and I'll donate the proceeds from whatever is given from the spawns to be sold, be it gold, scrolls or anything

Heres our idea: Donate the entire 40 mil, use those points to purchase zoo items that people would want to buy, place those items on the zoo vendor and donate that gold as items sell. Then, rinse and repeat. If done this way, our zoos should never drop below tier 11.

Maybe start a thread on what zoo items people would like to see on the vendor. We understand that you have been too busy to keep that vendor up, if you need help with it let us know.

That's a great idea My hubby and I will do the math on what items would sell for what to make sure the cycle is upkept and post the options.

40m is equal to 2.6m points I believe, so if we were to put like 3 of the items worth 800k points, like the recognition statue, or a few of the armor pieces, that'd be great.
