http://update.uo.com/general.html
The notes are for the Test Center update. Dont think its on production shards yet.First ive heard of it. Is it somthing i should go look for on Oce or is it a test centre thing?
http://uo.stratics.com/content/virtues/virtues.shtmlvirtue dungeons?
Would that not be a "Stab in the dark"The notes are for the Test Center update. Dont think its on production shards yet.
And the Glass dagger idea sounds cool. Someone get to stabbing, do it now!!
I just picked up on the fact that it's a virtue dungeon , not an anti-virtue duneon. So what's a virtue dungeon? Is it Fire, Ice or maybe dungeons in Ilshenar?virtue dungeons?
For your information, I'm not mysterious. I was just hanging out.anyone find one and see what they do. Ill try soon as i get home.
Ewwww things I would not want to see in UO lolFor your information, I'm not mysterious. I was just hanging out.
Oh, and anyone finds um, a frilly shepard dress and gag harness, I really have no idea how those got down there.
Erm.
Of course, the Anti-Virtue dungeons have always been in Felucca:ah anti-virtue dungeons I like. Those are places I enjoy being. will they be in felucca too?
Jeremy, if you can't hold your head up you should stay away from the keyboard. Not doing so normally ends with painful results. At least its nice to know I'm not the only one that should stay away from the keyboard at times. No, I was just a zombie last night (see Obsidian Blades, value of) - I meant anti-virtue dungeons![]()
Lets hope so because I only hunt in Felucca anti-virtue dungeons. There is just something to be said about avoiding 100 trash spawn mobs while risking the chance you might run into one other player once every month unless someone is doing a harrower.ah anti-virtue dungeons I like. Those are places I enjoy being. will they be in felucca too?
At least you'll always have a job waiting for you at Initech. No, I was just a zombie last night (see Obsidian Blades, value of) - I meant anti-virtue dungeons![]()
Sure it was a cow?Since the publish is currently on Origin, I decided to go running around for a bit..havent' run across any mysterious strangers yet....been lookin BUT I did milk a cow first thing..THAT was very satisfiying *grins*
Well obviously your typo means that UO is being imminently shut down, right? You can tell us.No, I was just a zombie last night (see Obsidian Blades, value of) - I meant anti-virtue dungeons![]()
except that the dungeons dont have anything to with sins, they have to do with virtues. also, the virtues and dungeons have been around since before UO, why should we go around changing pieces of the ultima lore?Well obviously your typo means that UO is being imminently shut down, right? You can tell us.
*chuckles*
-Galen's player
ps: Many of us in RP call them the Dungeons of Sin, a name which I find infinitely cooler and think that the team should officially adopt.

QFT.Origin has a mage at WBB saying nasty things are in cove and makes a gate...
Been nasty things in cove for... years
Yeah, thats been there for awhile, quite possibly set up as a part of a quest chain in ages gone by.I also checked Despise on Test Center and didn't find any mysterious stranger.
I did notice a new inaccessible area in the southwestern part of the lowest level (behind the acid elemental's swamp), which looks like an orc outpost. But it's possible that it was added when the dungeon was redecorated for KR, and I just never noticed it until now...

the little pop-up scroll claims that test center is still on publish 52, and we can't seem to find any strangers, so, not sure what's goin' on there.... think I'll wait for clarification, my foots are gettin' wearyI've run through Covetous, Despise and Destard on Test and didn't see anything out of the ordinary. I also learned a few things about those dungeons I either never noticed, or been so long since I've been in those areas I forgot things were there.
PS: Dev's could we please get a runebook with the dungeons. I love walking through Britainia, but on test it's a pain when you just wanna test. See here for more about this idea.

Test Center, and now also Origin, are definitely running Publish 53 - the rest of the Publish is active. The Test Center pop-up scroll doesn't update automatically - they probably forgot to change the message since last publish.the little pop-up scroll claims that test center is still on publish 52,
Silly me I been going to Tram all this timeOf course, the Anti-Virtue dungeons have always been in Felucca:
Covetuos
Shame
Wrong
Deciet
Despise
Hythloth
Destard
Oh God! yes Please read that idea I think its one of the best to come along in a very long time.I've run through Covetous, Despise and Destard on Test and didn't see anything out of the ordinary. I also learned a few things about those dungeons I either never noticed, or been so long since I've been in those areas I forgot things were there.

Actually it seems that according to LB "vices" are the anti-Virtues while "corruptions" are the anti-Principles, but it's good enough! There are three Principle Virtues tha(t) should guide people to enlightenment. These are: Truth, Love, and Courage. From all the infinite reasons one may have to found an action, such as greed or charity, envy or pity, the three Principle Virtues stand out.
In fact all other virtues and vices can be show(n) to be built from these principle(s) and their opposite corruption's of Falsehood, Hatred an(d) Cowardice.
No need... Caspian beat you to it.What, you thought I was talking about making new dungeons called "Sloth" or "Lust" or something?
Oh, and anyone finds um, a frilly shepard dress and gag harness, I really have no idea how those got down there.
Was there also a whip and tassels with them? Cause I thing I found them. For your information, I'm not mysterious. I was just hanging out.

Erm.
Actually "Dungeons of Vice" would be a more accurate phrase - "Vicious Dungeons" would be equally correct, although it just doesn't quite work. The problem is both "vice" and "sin" have a more religious connotation than is really necessary, and we kinda don't want to go there.
