my luck? or just some random poo?

so about 6 months ago i installed uo agine (account first opend in 2000) was playing for about a day loveing life then i go to bed turn my laptop on the next day and it wont load uo!!! i get this msg Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item!!!! so i get anoyd and leave uo agine lol

then today i install uo and run it for a good 30 mins with only a lil lag then i have to go to the shops so i turn lappy off and when i get back i turn it back on and it says the same thing!!!!


im not leaveing the bloody game agine so i need help to fix this!

i used the admin option but that dont work ither so what can i do?


im going bloody crazy

are you running vista? I think I had to play as admin on one of my laptops.

did that and it did not work just did same thing!!!
ive seen other people do this on some other forums but the thred ither gets locked or thers no end posts lol

KR version?

I've yet to get KR to work again since sept 07

2D version I had to reinstall from old SE disk and sit through patch after patch.

Right click the icon go to properties and set the compatibility tab settings to Windows XP SP2 and see if that helps also run that as administrator also. It's worth a shot.

well got it working
like most people my hard drive is split into 2 well i put it on the other half
then used admin and it does work

but only when we use admin

and its got rid of my rubber banding!!
