that was 10 minutes of pleasure, it' back to about 200 now.

I just got hiome and checked.
Very strange. 41-74 is certainly better than it had been, but still not normal. NOrmal was a STABLE ping of 17ish. Seems to be improving tho at least.
*edit* there is also still a bit of packetloss. It doesnt show on this ping report but if I leave it poll long enough, it is there, and I definitely still notice it in game. Step, Step, freeze pretty much, even tho the ping is a bit lower than it had been.

What could be so difficult about hunting down a peice of hardware they have an addy for hmm? EA is all thumbs on this one...any (decent) network admin should have had a handle on things by now.
Is EA telling me they dont keep track of their equipment? Seems to be the case.

Use the pathping command. It can take several minutes to complete, but it can give better detail of jumps that are flaking out sporadically.
