It was a fantastic game. It even looked like they might have even gotten a score even in those last seconds, course it also looked that way for NY too and they did score.
Tis the law of averages Puffy. There is nothing that goes undefeated for too long anywhere anything, the redwood trees get felled, the dinosaurs roamed the earth and became extinct. Everything...............gets leveled sooner or later one way or another. It is to remind us of our shortcomings and the law of averages when victorious or overly victorious...........nothing last forever especially undefeat and the victors become the defeated.
World would be boring as hell if any *powers that be* always remained undefeated in anything. People cheer for the underdog to win often cuz it has to be someone else's turn ......sooner or later to become the victor !

While I hope to see a 19-0 team someday, I am glad that the Pats didn't do it this year.
Everyone brings up the spy cam crap from week one, but the real taint would have come from the fact that they lost at Baltimore on MNF in December.
That ref should have never granted that timeout since it can NOT be called by the defensive cooridinator (they can only be called by the head coach or one of the eleven players on the field--none of them did so).
Whoever said that Belichick is a child is absolutely correct. He can dish it out, but he can't take it. He can't win with dignity (running up the score) and he can't lose with it either.
