I didn't really talk much about the experiences of the Dynamic Events I did particpated in. So I will do so now while I have some time.
Arenanet basically kept their word on how they work. I noticed when more players showed up more enemies and the level of difficulty had changed. I had particapted in the human area the centaurs attacking with a few players. Was very fun and entertaining to say at the least.
I came back to that same DE later on and there were many more players and noticed how much harder it was compared to the first time. Still was fun and entertatining but I also got pve rolled by not paying attention to the mad rush of a huge group of centaurs coming in on me
Yes, you better not just stand there and learn how to dodge real quick when you get attacked. GW2 survivabilty lesson number one learned real quick lol.
I really enjoyed after the many DE I tried on how little things also contributed to completing them. I liked how the boss would scale with more players around. I was also one shotted to death but luckily I was revived by my dear trusted guild mate. I just totally enjoyed while exploring how I came across DE. With how they change if you win or fail really impressed me the most.
DE will change how gaming quests should be done. It's truly happening what you are told , not just a bunch of NPC mobs standing around waiting for you to kill them. You see what is going on and you are part of the game and story. You feel as you are actually contributing if you particpate. You can avoid them and just dont do them. It's a players choice which is totally refreshing in this new generation of games.
Here below are some videos from MMOCultureBlog on youtube who took time to make videos of their DE experiences:
