Well theres a few things you can do.

1st is to find a rotten corps and just let it attack you dog. This is much easier than it used to be before pet command changes. Let him get poisoned and when he heals himself he has a chance to gain all the way to gm.

2nd Is to find a guilded or freindly in fel player with the poisoning skill. have them poison the dog. This however will only bring your dog to 95. I dont think evil omen poison will be any better but some one may try this and give us all a report.

3rd is to get a giant ice worm trained to gm poisoning. ask the dog to stay and have the worm attack the dog. again this capps out at 95 healing.

4th and problry the most effective way is to have a guilded or freindly in fel discord the dog. You can spar a pair of discorded dogs all the way to gm healing though its faster to poison it. Even plain mage poison works very well. Note that the healing skill wont show on the lore page as discorded. It will show as if nothing happened but dont let that fool you. That skill, if 120 discorded, will cap at 72 skill. Just like the rest of his skills. This can take you from 90-100 in five or so hours. Longest ive seen is 8 hours on a really bad rng day.

5th way is to head to the twisted weald. There you can hunt the saytars untill you spawn a paragon. Use this paragon to discord your dog. Quickly leave the weald and come back and set the dogg to follow the saytar. This will break the fight and if you fast enough will salvage the discord(11 seconds)Then either poison it your self or have a guilded friend spend thier time to do so. Some times if your sly you can get the saytar pinned and a pixi stuck on the walls(like swoops) and she will cast on your dog if you initiate a fight with her. She will take your dog all the way to gm IF the saytar stays in LOS of the dog.

If you can disco your pet and cast poison on it, that works great, just cast often enough that it's always trying to cure itself, and that gives you resist gains at the same time. I also got good gains by discoing the pup and letting it fight a rotting corpse.

Otherwise rotting corpses all the way. I used 2 at a time for a bit, just cast the odd heal on your pup if his health gets too low.

Or just use your pup as he is. I haven't noticed any decent improvement considering the time it takes to finish a pup's healing, so I'm not convinced it's really worth the trouble :D

Without a doubt the easiest way is to get a satyr stuck use to disco dog and use a trapped pixie. (i have done this on many cu's easiest and quickest)

easy to set up apart from the initial mana dump no chance of pet dying and easy to maintain. just stand and stop the satyr moving and watch, couple of hours to gm.

Just don't pet park and then go AFK. It's not healthy for your account if a GM catches you AFK training a pet, or worse, if they find the pet training and owner nowhere to be seen :( I really hate seeing tamers take silly risks with an account because they don't want to be more active when training their pet or they don't know it's illegal to pet park AFK. So please be careful if you use this method.
