My char is bugged - note the physical resistance

I am not under any spells.
I have had someone cast, recast, and cure all possible spells.
I have paged GMs the last two days...tomorrow will be attempt 3.
I do not want to delete this 198 month char as it is scrolled out with skills.
I have died, hoping to rez 'clean.' Any ideas?

I had the same thing happen. The affected char is one I use infrequently enough that I didn't notice, until one day when I changed armor. It took a GM to fix it.

Party with the mage - have him stand a tile (or at most 2) from you and then have him cast "Arch Protection". That *might* do it.

Thank you all...tried the arch protection with another, resistance went to -30...removed it and it went back to -16. Logged out...back in...still -16.

I will try a GM tomorrow. 3rd time is a charm?

I'm not 100% on this but this looks like you've been hit with that Hiryu special that lowers phy and it's gotten stuck. Maybe someone can confirm or deny my theory and you can try to duplicate it to get a fix.

no its a bug with the sorcerer suit, were you using the sorcerer suit on this char a while ago?

Thank you too Lythos and Quickblade. I have been trying to attack and be killed by a hiryu, but no luck thus far. Being that this char is 198 months old I am highly confident that over the years it has worn a sorcerer suit a long time ago. Of late it has been more of a crafter/provo char. Quickblade, do you know of a possible solution I might try other than a GM? Thank you in advance for any more thoughts you may have.

I have had this happen. When you page you need to include that you have tried toggling all relevant buffs and debuffs and that casting 'protection' actually takes the resist even lower.

I had this happen also about a month ago. I paged about 7am before work and sat at Luna bank naked in 2D so he wouldn't auto logout. Got back at 6pm with it fixed and a message from a GM.

wear a despicable quiver for +10 physical and then your only -6

I've had a similar bug with one of my characters. I somehow ended up with a permanent 40 lmc so the bug is not limited to resists. I was going to page a GM about it but then reconsidered

Between you and your conscience I guess, but by not getting it fixed you could be classed as exploiting the bug.

I've had this happen multiple times, it had nothing to do with sorc suits since it happened on characters with crafted suits. It had to do with protection and I believe armor swapping with mannequins. A GM was required to fix it, and I stopped using mannequins, hasn't happened again.
