Was it one of the 16th anniversary horses or a faction guard horse?I logged in and my black horse was gone... wtf?
A little more info on what you were doing at the time may help. I would like to add that if your stables are full and you cant stable anything else, all pets that get sent to be auto stabled buy the game end up at a stable closest to where you logged out, but the pets are left there unstabled and they don't appear on your list of controllable pets eitherI logged in and my black horse was gone... wtf?

A guildie dismounted you and lured the pet off. Only reasonable explanation.I logged out in luna while on my old faction guard horse. I logged back in and it was gone. Not really much more I can say about it.
Possible someone got jealous and a GM removed it?I logged out in luna while on my old faction guard horse. I logged back in and it was gone. Not really much more I can say about it.

Or best thought were you logged out upstairs in the rooms where you insta log or just at the bank?
If it was at the Bank you don't insta log so it's "possible" that during the few min it takes for your char to "time out" your horse decided you are a bad master threw you off went wild and some lucky joe came along and tamed your horse or killed it.
They do. Just run around don't feed your horse and you will get tossed off their backs.I wish horses would do that to players "throw them off"
I'm pretty sure that is false. They do. Just run around don't feed your horse and you will get tossed off their backs.

I had a Guildmaster that was guilty of this all the time. My Tamer used to threaten him with a burning if he continued to abuse his pets so.... Yes I'm sorry but it's quite true. And if you didn't know then I'm going to assume this was what happened to your pet and someone quite likely happily sold your horse or kept it.I'm pretty sure that is false.
no this is true ive had it happen more than several times over the past year. i feed my black horse about once a week, right before and right after leaving it unattended by an auctionhouse and it went wild recently. im sure you know that certain things lower loyalty as well, such as invising. i dont think this had anything to do with your horse as a couple invises wouldnt do it, but you never know. if it was really low on loyalty an invis or 2 might have pushed it over the edge to wild. its also happened on characters that ride regular horses but i dont care about them and if they go wild so i never feed them. They do. Just run around don't feed your horse and you will get tossed off their backs.

It seems you are correct about it going wild while being on it. I have never seen it nor have I ever fed any of my mounts after bonding them yet that never happened to me until I guess just the other day with my black horse.
Strange.
