(RP) My beloved Vesper... in the hands of a pirate

It is with a heavy heart that I report that I have lost my position as governor of Vesper to none other than the known pirate who recently attacked Minoc, and whom I believe to be responsible for the upswing of piracy in the greater Vesper/Minoc area.

I have received reports from Vesper citizens stating that they went to vote late Friday night but found that my name was not on the stone. I suspect that this Bloodhand character is behind this. I believe that she tampered with the election, and I am quite confident that citizens from another city (that shall remain nameless) interfered as well.

However, I shall bow out gracefully. I would like to thank the citizens of Vesper for allowing me to serve. It has been an honor. I only hope that Vesper will survive whatever doubtless nefarious plans this scoundrel has in store.
