My Beetle any good?

Iv'e always loved the Rune Beetle, this is mine from before i left, just wondering if i need to replace

Good stats but resistances are a little lacking ...

So, should i get rid?

Ihave Tamed a new one ...

So which one is the better?

It really depends on how you play and your template.

If you need more tank the HP and resists are key. In that case your beetle is very nice..could be a ...little better not much.

if you are going for out and out damage then you surly can do better.

For me, I play a "damage output" crucial template so when I tame beetles I am looking for
124 eval (110 post tame)
180 stm(@110 eval blesses itself got ~11 stm so 169 dex bare min)(think swing rates)
135 poison(123i think post tame)
then resists need to be 65/50/*/*/50

After I see that I evaluate weather Id tame it based on the rest of the stats
Mana is nice but HP trumps it in my book. Then strength is the last factor.

That said I tend to stand under my pets swinging with a sword so vetting is always an option for me.

For a distanced tamer max HP might be a higher concern then resists then the whole damage output thing.
