I don't know that I'd call Atlantic unhealthy just because of the inflation. Those of you who know me over there know I literally did nothing but crafting and bod collecting with two 7 character accounts and basically just sold shadow runics, oak fletcher kits plus crafted samp axes and luck suits all day. There was a stretch there where the factory was making 750 mil a week in profit (I'd buy all the metal/hides/wood/essences from vendors)... 1p if some suits sold. I really wouldn't consider that a sign of an unhealthy economy. Inflated maybe, but pretty damn robust as far as economies go. Make stuff other people want and sell it at whatever the lowest price on VS is. Supply, Demand, Bulk Efficiencies, etc.
I only tried siege because I had nothing left to do on Atl. All my toons on my main account perfectly maxed gear and skilled. The ability to mint 1p a week if I want with the crafter accounts for a few hours everyday.
If anyone thinks Atlantic is an unhealthy economy it's only because they don't enjoy crafting as a template... and because all the monsters in the land kept gold from 25 years ago in the mattress instead of the bank or investing it. Now you're always disappointed because they have nothing worth killing them over
