My anniversary

First i wanna start off by saying i never thought i would be in the position to write about this topic before. There are a few people that already know about what i'm about to write, for the rest of you here is a story i want to share with everyone.

It was exactly one year ago today that i found myself in a situation that i thought would never happen to me. I was found laying unconscious in the middle of the hall by my sister. thankfully she found me when she did, i later found out that had i not awoken when i did it was a strong possibility that would not of woken up at all. I suffered from a major pulmonary embolism that night.

Now 1 year later the recovery was tough at times but i managed. I am proud to say that i am have been smoke free for a full year now. My diabetes is in control and i am over all a healthier person It's sad it took a major event like that to make me wanna change my lifestyle but in all honesty i am glad it did happen. I guess i wanted to say that if you are going through something in life no matter the situation there is always hope it may not seem like it at first but in the end life has a way of helping us through even the hardest times of our lives.

grads on your 1st year anni

My mom quit 2 years ago this month because of a heart attack.
June 14th will be 2 years for me for me it was easy to quit I never smoked inside. I smoked on the back porch or in the garage at night. When I did quit I avoided the back porch and garage for a long time. I used the patch for a week it would never stay on so I said forget it. Went cold turkey never had any cravings for anything either.
