My account access to certain house tiles are bugged

I was reworking on the look of my place and I see that I am able to use some of the shadow and crystal stairs but I was denied use of the crystal floor tiles and the shadow and crystal walls. I do have the latest expansion so theres no reason why I can place the interior stairs but not the exterior stairs and floor tiles.

The shadow and crystal housing sets are supposed to be exclusive to the 9th-anniversary edition. From what I understand, even if you have later editions, you should not have access to them.

So I have to buy a 9th aniv "upgrade" get the full use of the tiles?

Yes. Not sure if there is an actual upgrade, you will probably have to find a box version.

Yes, you have to buy the box. In addition to those housing tiles, you get tokens for a personal attendant and shadow and crystal housing items. But if you're already upgraded to the latest expansion, there's no point in buying the upgrade unless you really want those housing tiles and tokens.
