Moving resources

I have 50,000 logs in my house and I'm looking for a way to move it easily to my bank, ideally without recalling back and forth with or without pack horses many times.

Any tips or tricks to make this easier would be greatly appreciated.

A commodity deed box (1st year vet reward) will allow you to deed the logs up at home, and easily transport them to the bank where you can claim them.

Thanks...I've been away from the game for a while and didn't even know that commodity deed boxes existed. Are there any obvious exceptions to what can be moved with it? Ingots (all colors?), logs (all types), reagents or anything I'm not thinking of?

They're a new addition as of the last publish about 2 months ago or so. (Time tends to get away from me, it might have been longer) But anything that can be put into a commodity deed will work. The box works like a bank box in your house and allows you to create & re-deem deeds at home.

I've always hopped items to a boat or bank. Its not very safe to move the items but trying to move over 10k of stones its very quick compared to using pack animals and recalling. This isn't possible in tokuno or malas, if you live near the water in trammel or felucca its quite easy. Some items do not work with commodity deeds. I moved some million fish steaks by hopping it to a boat and taking them to serpents hold and banking them.

When I moved out of my last house, I had over 300k cooked ribs (left there by the previous owner. Rather than move them, I left them in the house for the person I sold it to. I never understood why people had stockpiles like that. Same with fish steaks, at one point my fisherman had about 150k in his bank. Eventually one day I just dropped them at the bank to either decay, or to let someone else pick them up.

Um this is actually wrong. You cannot deed logs. Boards yes. But not logs.

What kind of crap is that? I guess I had better start cutting my logs into boards before I drop them in my deed box then.
