Moving crate Question

Hi how do you remove items from a moving crate at your house? Also if I wanted to go with one of the new designs, do I need to remove everything from the house first? Or would the items if left in the house and went with one of the new designs automatically go into a moving crate to be removed at your convivence? Thanx

got to the house sign menu by double clicking it, then go to the customize menu and select the button beside "Relocate moving crate" and it drops the crate at your feet. then just open it and take stuff out. mine has no button because it is empty, but here is where it is.
