Moving crate not working!

I'm having a hard time with the moving crate. I've finished my design, and am ready to commit... but I can't get stuff to go in the moving crate! I'm tried placing walls over it, but it's not taking. I'm going to have to remove everything manually (and that's going to be a pain!) Some things went in, but not everything... I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I try all kinds of things, but nothing worked!

Any special trick to moving regular locked down items and such into the moving crate that I'm not aware of?

Did you place the walls, commit the design, and then go back in and remove 'em? If you only place the walls in customize mode and then remove them before you commit they won't bump anything - useful for avoiding dumping all your stuff in the crate due to a misplaced wall, but annoying when you want to move it all.

'nother thing that might have happened is that the stuff not falling in has been raised with the deco tool. Half-walls or short posts might not bump stuff into the crate when it's been raised, although full walls still ought to work.

Aha, I didn't realize it was the committing that was key; I'll do that. Save me a LOT of time.
