Mortal Bugged?

Over the past few weeks i've noticed that I will sometimes hit someone with mortal, see the graphic to indicate they are mortaled, yet, they aint mortaled?

Anyone else experienced this?

I've experienced it while playing my archer, and also playing against archers on mage...

None of my guildies have noticed anything rolleyes:
