Will the arachnid hordes be called off for the evening, or will we just walk around them and turn it into a drinking game?

I suppose its time for me to see what all this spider talk is about.
This is something I don't say to women very often, but "You'll be disappointed".
No real payoff, just some creatures with 5000+ HP that drop 300 gp each and 0-1 low intensity items. Also, their corpses are labelled "wolf spider" or "dread spider".
A lesser man would chalk the entire affair up to lazy CTRL-C/CTRL-Ving by some sort of divine creator, but a great man... Why, a great man would babble for so long, and with such vigor and strength that the spider invasion became recognized by all! Why, to behold such a man would be bliss, and to bask in his radiance would be euphoria.
At least until the spider invasion caused eggs to be laid in your spine and control of your body passed to thousands of tiny octopedal beings wriggling under your flesh.

Actually I like this sort of thing even if they are regular spawn. Shakes things up a bit.
