(Player Event) Moonglow Holiday Festival 12/21

Hi Folks!

Katt and I will be at it again on Saturday December 21st at 3pm EST. We hope to see some of you Europeans!

Not all details are ironed out yet, but we will be hosting a Holiday party in the town of Moonglow. Expect the usual over-abundance of victuals and spirits as well as but not limited to....

• Elves giving out gifts
• Community writing of a Holiday themed UO story
• Drinking contests, ie: Most Vocal Singer, Best Intestinal Fortitude
• Best Holiday Outfit
• Snowball Fights

The Holiday story will be started by one of our Hosts, and each guest will add a line at a time until our story is through. The resulting hilarity will be taken down in book form and added to the player run libraries of the land. Copies will be given to the guests as well, AND they will receive an author's credit! (I'd love to see this as an annual tradition)

We would also like to humbly request a few things. If they're a bit too dear we are willing to purchase them, but our funds are not endless We need...

• Snowpiles I found out that snowpiles are worth much more here, we have a surprise planned for those who don't own their own snow!!!
• Giftboxes
• and Gifts!

Okay, this may be the longest post I've ever made! If you have something you'd like to donate, look for me (Talia (NEW2) or Lupe(TnT)), Kattasrophe (NBT), or York in game or in genchat OR you can PM us here.

We have decided to give out donated gifts in a "secret santa" type of format. Those who wish to donate a gift may do so by dropping a bag containing the item(s) and a book with your name in the mailbox at The Golden Pickaxe Vendors in Moonglow, east of the artist's colony and the guard captain.

We will then switch up the gifts before the party, and track down the recipients during the party to give them out. (Or afterwards if you can't make it) We will still be giving out gifts to all of our party goers, so don't despair if you don't have trinkets stashed away, but if you'd like to participate in this unique experience, please contact me, York, or Kattasrophe, or drop off your gift at the aforementioned location. We will accept gifts until 12/19, so that we have time to check our lists twice!
