UOAM Map shows a moongate in Vesper at the "Y" break in the Vesper-Minoc road. I was unable to locate it at that spot. Is there one on Siege?

LOL...you have no idea how long I spent searching for that gate in that spot...only to discover Buc's Den is simply a boring option in every regular public moongate.

I felt frustrated enough with the time I spent looking for it only to discover the same thing. It is nice to know I am in good company.

I actually bought a boat to go to Buc's Den on Siege the first time. I rarely used the public moongates and didn't realize it was in the list, I figured since Siege was "hard" we had to get there the hard way. I never operated a boat in the game before, what should have been a straightforward voyage from the coast of Trinsic was more like the Gilligan's Island 3 hour tour.

Ocllo is truly a boat only initial travel situation, as far as I know. Lots of people have runes in public rune libraries though, if you can gate.

Did you use all of your charm in the lobbying campaign?

Siege is a learn to think out of the box transition. I have to keep reminding myself that yes there are places like rune libraries and I need to use them. I am too use to having runebooks of my own to all the places I want to go. I have been marking runes to cities with banks today. I'll check Umbra tomorrow for rune books as that is one Library I know of.

Problem is, I just created another account. Too bad he's an orc with no magic.

The way I got there was boat + map from npc mapmaker, mark course, drop on tiller man, tell him 'start' and sit back and let him sail from Buccs to Ocllo.

I used that method to do the humility cloak quest, both to get to Ocllo for the npc there and to Fire to take the cloak to the shrine to finish the quest.
