(Player Event) Month Long Berry Pickin Event

Greeting Chesapeake!

Thanks to generous donations, Governor Sweetpeez and I are holding a month long contest with 50 million in gold and prizes!! Contest starts today and will last until August 15th, 2018.


One of the generous benefactors has MANY large cooking bods that they are willing to donate to the artisan fest trees but they are in dire need of tribal berries to complete them. The smalls are there waiting to be filled with savage kin paint. All that is needed are tribal berries - tons upon tons of tribal berries. Hopefully by contest end, there will enough to fill all those bods!


The Contest is simple; kill savage women for their tribal berries. There will be runes dropped off all over the Luna mint area to the drop off house location. (Also home to the Artisan Tree Festival Donation Center - see further down stratics post for info on that!) Drop Berries into the mailboxes with the same character every time so all your berries will be counted as one large entry instead of multiple small entries. If you are on an endless journeys account, place your berries in a bag with a book with your name in it and yell out for Marge in gen chat and I can take them. I am usually on nightly - if I'm not someone from TPN or the Pax Lair Alliance will gladly drop them in for you. (right guys - )


The berries will be turned into savage kin paint and given over to be used to fill those small bods which will in turn finish off those larges. As of now, the prize break down I'm thinking of is the following:
1st Place - 15 million gold
2nd Place - 10 million gold
3rd Place - 5 million gold

I'm hoping to find a few nice prizes to go along with the money. And then use the rest to give 1 million gold to all contestants. Regardless of the breakdown - the 50 million will be awarded!

I hope many join in the fun (or maybe I shouldn't or I'll have to find more gold!! ) Hope to see lots of names in the mailboxes! Any questions can be asked here or in game.

Entering into the Savage village, is a figure clad in black samurai armor with a norse helm. A black cloak flapping in the wind as the figure raise a dark radiant scimitar. The runes etched into the back side of the radiant scimitar starts pulsating red. After striking down the first savage the runes on radiant scimitar turn red. The blade has a dark mist and aura around it as it drains the last bit of life from the savage. Several hours later the green grass has turned red and many savage bodies lying on the ground. After collecting 100s of tribal berries and a measely amount of gold. The figure looks for Niva and teleports out.

3rd Place - Zoogi with 400 berries (Awarded a Grey 3rd Place trophy, a Dragon Turtle Fountain, A Fireworks Banner, an albino squirrel imprisoned in a crystal, and 10 million Gold)
2nd Place - Charles Crossbow with 425 berries (Awarded a Gold 2nd Place Trophy, a Dragon Turtle Fountain, A Fireworks Banner, an albino squirrel imprisoned in a crystal, and 15 million Gold)

The trophy colors for the winners may seem a bit odd, but Governor Sweetpeez picked them out and offered the following explanation (in her wording):
"Da Green trophie iz fur da biggest weiner kause green iz da bestest ob all da kolorz. DUH hummiez! Da Sekund wun got da gold kolor kause da iz da kolor ob goblin pee und dat iz uh bootiful kolor tooz. Meez picked da grey kolor kause eben doh itz uglee kolor itz still uh kolor ob goblinz. Nerg dat yooz kan alwayz trust demz sneaky sneaky grey wunz but dat uh hole udder storie timez.

An explanation of the prizes (again in her words):
"Demz ull gotz trophiez kause YAY demz weinerz! Da firewurkz pikturdz are kause firewurkz are awesum und yooz gotz to sellabrate yooz winnin! Da dragon turtle fountain iz yooz furst line ob defense fum angry sabagez comin fur yooz in rebenge. Putz by yooz door - demz soo uglee it may skare uhway da sabagez! Iffn dat dun wurk - yooz gotz da squirell fur uh distrakschun. Hopefully da sabagez will tink demz kute und play wif da squirell or kept demz fur supper iffn nuffin else.

Since there were only 5 contestants, the gold amounts were upped. The 'at least they turned in something' prize was doubled. An extra 5 million was added to each of the other winners. The extra million was used to to help pay for the prizes.

I`d like to thank all the Savages slain at my feet. I will be investing all my winnings in Fizbang Factory and Labs. Two Goblin entrepreneurs approached me one green and one gray both named Fizbang. There wanting to build Blackrock Automations, Explosion potions, Cannons, Black Powder, and collect Blackrock. There building some sort of contraption in New Maginica.

Fizbang Gray said, "Mez makin Blakroq mazhinb thab gob Boomz. Neb Maginka shab anb robl. Meza builbz ab batter Blakthorb! Neebz urb golb forb rebserb anbz debvelubment. Ub gib meh golb nowb ztubbid elb! Mez zmart thab ub. Ibz ub notz gib golb Fizbang nijub ub opah!"

How can I not invest in such a business deal. I think my understanding of Goblin may be a little off.
