I would love to see a recipe binder for ML recipes so its easier to sort and storage wise. Yes granted probably 80 percent of community doesnt do these anymore but returning players or us old timers who like to craft and do stupid stuff still do them and i would love to get a binder to store them all in. Thoughts?

Why in the world would you need a "recipe binder?"

Either (1) use them on your crafter who needs them, (2) toss them on a vendor to sell them, or (3) throw them in the trash and collect clean-up points.

Why in the world would you be stocking an excess of these?

Now... rather than waste time binding them, I'd be absolutely fine with the idea of making recipes of the same type stack so they're easy to store somewhere, but binders are definitely not the solution for everything.

Excuse me ??

Use up time and resources to make a binder for recipes when there is other UO items which need better storage quite more urgently ??

Items that could be made as stackables (now they are not...) like Tattered Treasure Maps of the same level and facet, Messages in a Bottle, Fishing Nets of the same coloring which, when still undecoded, are all the same and can be made stackable, Blackrock (!!!), Blackrock Stew, and several others items need better storaging quite more than recipes......

Also, if special containers were to be created be them binders or like BOD books or seeds containers, they could be made to better store decoded Treasure Maps (i.e. no longer tattered), SoSes and Ancient SoSes (i.e. no longer MiBs), jewellery and why not, Armoires for Armor as well as other items also...

Bottom line is, that my point is that I think a lot more other items need a better storaging then recipes........

Personally, I would love to see a publish ALL focused on providing better storaging in the game like make all items that could be stacked as stackable, and introduce special containers like BOD Books or Seeds containers but for a lot of items which could well use them to help players in their storage needs. ...

'd like to see which recipes a particular character has eaten, or still needs. I'd also like to see an end to the grind of getting them, let us pick, or Bribe them for the one we want, or something like the change to Bods. I think any time a recipe becomes rare, it means the RNG is broken. If it's meant to be 'rare', then put those on a separate npc named 'get your grinds here' and go at it

Most are easy to get and a few are rare. Sell the rare and quit hoarding. If your making a future crafter then train down there. The carp and fletcher have that nasty side rewards called runics. Real annoying. Skill Quest can cover load of crafting gains.

For the hoarders. Line up 14 boxes = 2 weeks. When you need to go back to the first box of items collected 2 weeks ago. And what is there was not in your budget of time to do so toss in trash or sell. That will solve your items that are used but don't stack.

Make a Liquor Cabinet a crafted item. Someplace to keep all those unique named bottles like a music gear box.

This is a cool idea. But they are right, other items seem more important to do this for.

But, right now my smith can't learn any of the recipes I have got yet until I get his smithing up, so I have a bag full of nothing but recipes galore. Same thing with my bowcrafting recipes, but there are a lot more smithing ones. It would help if I had a binder. I do sell the extras, but when you are doing the heartwood quests it would be nice to throw them into binders when you get them and sort them later. But like you said, many players are past getting recipes, others are not. Maybe players want to keep some on vendors to sell. They are a good seller, you never know when somebody might need a recipe they don't have, especially the rare ones. Any newer crafter characters won't have any of these unless they do the quests or buy them.

I came back to the game and found myself doing the heartwood quests again for recipes and gains. It's a pain. Sometimes you don't even get a recipe. Sometimes you get lucky and get a rare one, and some good talismans.

There used to be a list of recipes on stratics for all crafts. Is it gone now? I printed it out long ago, and checked them off as I ate them, just make sure I had them all. (Except a few of the rarer ones)

Nice idea I would like to think you could sell full books of recipes and collect them...
But there are more important things...
Still Very nice idea
