Minoc Town Annoucments and Event Schedule

Thank you all who attended the Council Meeting earlier this week. If you were in attendance several of your Governor's had some great things to offer and King Blackthorn had some great news to break as well.

I gave a smaller, more impromptu speech, during this meeting than at the last meeting. I will reproduce here for those who were unable to attend:
I'm quiet proud of the efforts of my citizens and all the citizens of Britannia through these recent waves of aggression As some of you may know I was caught away from Minoc when she was last attacked.

This failure on my part, and combined with the support from my friends and family, would like to announce that I will be running for re-election next term. I feel that the city of Minoc has treated me well, and I have a lot more to give to her and look forward to standing up for her in the future.

With that in mind, I may also be holding some competitions, where everyone will die, just be warned!

I've had a complete blast attending and hosting events these last few months and really want to go all out next month and provide a ton of things for people to do. I hope to continue doing these events as the Governor of Minoc but I welcome anyone to run against me. Here is my planned schedule of things to come on my campaign trail:

Please note these times and dates are subject to change based on EM event schedule, my personal whim, and bribes.
  • September 8 @ 7pm Eastern - Governor's Banquet - A private function for all current Governors, and any new candidates. If you want to attend, put your name on the city stone of your choice and please RSVP with me.
  • September 12 @ 9pm Eastern - Vesper Auction
  • September 15 @ 7pm Eastern - Mid Month Crafting Competition - Event will be aimed at high end Blacksmiths and proposed by Ozog Giantfart. Date and time subject to change.
  • September 19 @ 9pm Eastern - Virtue Tour - An educational tour of the Shrines of Virtue. Bring your weapons!
  • September 22 @ 4pm Eastern - Live Chess - A PVP event based around Chess but with a very bloody outcome.
  • September 26 @ 9pm Eastern - Vesper Auction
  • September 29 @ 3pm Eastern - Trail By Fire - A PVP event based around an old Orc game. Armor and weapons will be provided and cheating is encouraged!
Keep an eye out for detailed announcements for each event. Campaign donations are welcome as well. ALL campaign funds will go towards the public events and the City of Minoc.

Please note this schedule has been updated today (9/16). The Virtue Tour has been postponed due to scheduling conflicts. If you made plans to be available that night, we will be attending the Vesper Beautification Project and supporting our allies.
