Minoc Huntmaster's Challenge: February 2016 Biggest Bear & Skinner Contest

Bear Hunting Competition:
Rewards for 1st place - 5 million gold + trophy of your kill ..... 2nd place - 3 million gold.... 3rd place - 1 million gold
Rules:
- Purchase a hunters permit from the huntsmaster in Skara Brae ( 5 k for each permit )
- Kill a grizzly bear and use the permit on the corpse
- Bring the permit to Minoc and drop off in the mailbox at the house in picture below. ( it is a small straw building on the edge of Minoc, not far from the moongate)
- Heaviest weight will win. There are prizes for the top three bear entries.
- Updates will be posted on the bronze sign to track what weight players need to beat.
- Deadline is Saturday Feb. 27th @ 7pm est / 6pm cst ; Winners will be announced within the hour of the contest end time ( to allow me to customize your trophy boxes)
There will also be a Skinner Contest during the month. It will also conclude at the same time as the Bear Contest.
Rewards for 1st place - 3 million gold + Harvestor's Blade .... 2nd place - 2 million .... 3rd place - 1 million .... 4th place - 500 k .... 5th place - 250 k
Rules:
- Turn in the most leather and animal by products for reward points.
- Items that count towards reward points include:
5 pts / each Leather ( any type ...plain, spined, horned, or barbed)
3 pts / each Bones
2 pts / each Scales
1 pts / each Raw Meat ( any type.... bird, ribs, lamb, other?)
1 pts/ each Any other resource that comes from skinning ( wool, fur, blood, etc. )
- Items should be turned in by dropping off in the mailbox, but include a book with players name and a listing of what is yours.
- Scores for this contest will not be posted like the biggest bear competition.
- All resources gathered in the contest will go toward the town of Minoc's treasury.

Congratulations to Celestial Knight!
Winner of the Minoc Huntmaster's Challenge for heaviest grizzly bear in the month of February.
CK had a kill weighing in at a whopping 790 stones.
Coming in second in the competition was Red Snapper, who had a bear weighing a respectable 660 stones.
Third place goes to Ozog Giantfart, who slayed a 645 stone beast. Way to go you clever goblin!
Red Snapper is also the recipient of a Huntmaster's Blade, which will aid greatly her future resource gathering. She turned in the most items that counted towards the competition.

In addition to the cash prizes, the townspeople of Minoc crafted customized trophy helms and bloodwood boxes to commemorate the event for all the winners.
Thanks to all who participated and I will seek you out in game to give you your rewards.
