All citizens are here by advices to remove your sailing vessels from the Lost Hope Bay and surrounding areas. On Wednesday March 26 at 9 PM Governor Victor II and Governor Tehan will be co-coordinating a massive alchemy demonstration in the Lost Hope Bay.

All are invited to come and attend this joyous occasion as Minoc takes one stop closer to improving her trade status among the other cities by clearing the slag from the Bay. This will be the first major step in providing a new Dock for the citizens of Minoc and our trade partners.

See you all on Wednesday, and bring your sword or spellbook! Even though Captain Holly Bloodhand now holds a governorship, her cronies are still about and your fighting services may be required.

Thank you everyone for coming out to watch the demolitions, and a special thank you to Governor @TehanChesapeake for assisting in the explosives. While the first two events took place without any issues we do apologize for the ignition failures of our largest demolition, but the bay was cleared! Reports on scene stated the waters started to look clearer immediately indicating that the slag was being cleared away, or at least given a more natural redistribution!

Please note that the city of Minoc does not take any responsibility for the appearance of wildlife during our demolitions. While disturbing the peace was expected it was not anticipated we would one, discover a new species, or two, that it would immediately attack and slaughter the viewing party. It appears that years of eating valorite slag has caused a creature party mineral and part flesh to survive in the slag. This legendary creature, named R'vexali the Ravager of Beaches, is simply just another example of the wildlife seen across Britannia every day, and the city of Minoc is in no way responsible for it's appearance. However, due to a suggestion by Governor Phoenix and Alchemist Lazulli after this tragic event we will be commissioning a memorial to all who were injured or slain during the construction process of the Minoc Docks. Suggestions to name the docks after R'vexali are still under consideration but have not been decided.

In the mean time, the city of Minoc is excited about having this project done as it is a major step forward in the construction of Docks for the city as the demand for shipping via the seas has increased as many merchants are now wary of using either the shipping facilities of Cove or Vesper for orcs and pirates respectively. To show our appreciation though, The Barnacle, will be having two for one drinks till the end of this week. Come by and try our classic Clam Beer Cheese Dip!

Speaking of Clams, many fisherman are looking forward to the return of the Minoc Clam as the slag has been a less than hospital environment for them. We hope to see an increase in other aquatic species and are in talks with our local fishermen and Sons of The Sea about hosting a fishing tournament soon.
