(Player Event) Minoc Alchemy Demonstrations! (Not an alchemist? That's OK!) - March 13, 8PM

Greetings potion mixers, scribes, poisoners, blacksmiths, fencers, weavers, throwers, archers, stealthers, and more!

If you have been to the forges next to Minoc bank recently you may have realized some curious fires burning brightly along the ground. Many of you have tried to put them out, and thank you for trying, but have been unsuccessful in your endeavors. These fires are the result of an attack on Minoc, and myself, by the nefarious pirate scum Holly Bloodhand. We need you! To put out those fires.

Demonstrations for how you plan on putting out these fires are being requested to be shown to the Master Mixer of Minoc, our lead alchemist and head beer brewer. These demonstrations will take place on

Thursday March 13, at 8 PM

Everybody is welcome to attend and show off their skills.

You will be asked to provide your plans on how to put out these fires, while also removing the slag that is burning. Your demonstration (aka a small play) will be no longer than Five Minutes and will be judged on a few factors:

• Effectiveness
  
• Efficiency
  
• Alchemy
• Comedy
• Loss of Limb
• Collateral Damage

Reminder! This is tonight!

Thank you all for coming out! We had a blast tonight (Pun intended).

All ideas were wonderful and one contestant reign supreme for pure destructive power: Governor Tehan! Aside form the alchemist papers he won (You know, They can turn paper into gold ) Governor Tehan will be joining me next hopefully next week, time TBD, for a full scale implementation of his plan! I've dubbed this technique "Put it out with your face" but I'm sure @TehanChesapeake has a better name!

For a quick breakdown of our contestants:

• Tehan with "Put it out with your face" will be setting up a nice safety barrier around the construction sites, carefully load the necessary explosions, and light the fuse and not run to safety! ooOOoOOooo.
• Next was Alexis with "Black Pop Rock Stew" had a good formula and delivery method. By taking blackrock, slight tongue, a pinch of gaman horn, and a little bit of water all stirred together, gently of course, over an open flame a nice liquid could be obtained. Then you take a string... Tie it to a vorpal bunny and then hope it runs in the right direction before ooOOoOOOooo.
• OZOG WINS in third place with "Goblin Pee" Only this is a special pee. First you take a goblin, you feed it A LOT of spicy chilly, make it do jumping jacks until it's ready, then you get it drunk, and then you have it pee in a bottle. Personally I was impressed goblins COULD pee in a bottle and was then impressed again when said bottle was thrown for a magnificent explosion!
• Lazulli also presented a wonderful idea with her "Rock Quarry of Doom" idea. By digging holes around Minoc and placing barrels of explosives in them you can them rig them up with clocks. I'm not sure on the technical details but you could essentially slide the ground over the slag. Then you can take this make shift quarry and use it to lay the foundation for a solid dock. We are going to negotiate rights to use this plan once the slag is cleared as we think it will provide better results as second stage system.
• Ivy also presented her idea of "Watery Grave" Somehow she got it in her head that you take some fukiya darts and soak them in explosion potions. Then you take water elementals and fill them up with sulfurous ash and the fukiya darts. Which seems to upset the water elementals to be highly explosive and caused it to turn on her. ooOOooOOoooOO
