Mining gloves for gargoyles?

Can gargoyles wear the +5 mining gloves? Figure I should find out before I use my race change token.

Also, is it easy to imbue with mage armor?

Can't use gloves at all.

You can imbue mage armor on stuff but you need one of the SA ingredients.
