Mining Blackrock

Anyone know which setting has the best results (if any) for Mining Blackrock?
I've had my shovel set to Ore and Gems which poor luck at finding any. I wonder if I'd have better luck just set to Ore or even Ore and Stone.
Anyone tested this ?

I dont think it matters I always get mine with set to ore though

Which facet are you mining on? I can go to fel with shovel set to ore and gems, mine 2300 ingots and I usually get 6 or 7 blackrock.

On cats if you got to cove you can pick up hundreds of pieces of small black rock right off the ground....the scripters dump them there
