Minax's Bladed Staff

Anyone remember when Minax herself showed up in the Dungeon Destard some years back?

She had a bladed staff as a weapon.

I remember it well; it one-hit killed Galen.

(By the way....GMs, in the future, when you play an NPC that's gonna be killing players, take your invulnerable flag off so at least we have half a chance to score some damage before you kill us. You fired an EM for daring to fight PKs when he'd forgotten to take his invul flag off, yet I didn't whine about the invulnerable Minax for many years.)

Anyway....What was that bladed staff called? In the UO Guide, I called it the "Night's Kiss," but that's clearly a screw-up, as that is actually the name of the Ilsh minor arti dagger.

Anyone remember?

I highly doubt there will be any Event Mods playing RP characters again due to the fact they canceled local shard events. They replaced them with the current shard wide event storylines.

The good: everyone can participate

The bad: they take forever to launch new events

If she weren't invulnerable, someone would've tried for sure.

Keep in mind that this was in the days before there were caps on anything too....

My character Galen's encounter with Minax and the Doom Kiss went this way....

Galen encountered her in Destard, bottom level (the Ancient Wyrm level), where her Dark Council was meeting. She'd already killed a few people.

For some reason Galen decided to talk to her. "Minax!" he yelled. "You can't escape. Surrender now!" And then she walked up and laid him out with a single hit.

Galen was an archer back then, and had a paralyzing shot ready....Would've been neat to say I had done damage to Minax.

I remember Minax, and she was not always invincable..... I have proof.....

These are from my collection my friend Polynikes of Yew got this cloak off her corpse after several on Great Lakes managed to slay her.

Uh thats not true. Those cloaks didnt come from Minax herself.....
