Ok, it's been awhile, but is it possible to dye cloth with the plant dyes? I would
think so but am getting an error message.

They made it so you would have to dye the item. They did not want you to Dye rolls of cloth at a time.

You'll have to dye things that use a lot of cloth (jester suits, for example), and recycle them, losing half the cloth.
