I have just read a article that reports; The US is in negotiations with the Taliban. It felt like poison was jetisoned from my body. Has it really been 10 years, of that horrible day? I feel like I can see the first rays of the sun rising on the horizon. I feel relief that someday in the near future; That I will not have too read another article of an American soldier struck down. The US trained the Taliban in the first place to clean their hands clean against the Russians.
I have mixed feelings about this. I like seeing these sorts of topics, but this isn't really UO related and has the potential to rub certain people the wrong way. Even more so than any PvP related post/thread.
Let's see where this goes...
On another note, how about a Happy Father's Day to all, to those still alive and those that are deceased? We cannot move forward as a people without giving our dues to those that came before us.
Ring up your old man and tell him how much you appreciate him.
