Well, as much as Mesanna chooses to do things, its just as much our choice if we wish to thank her for it.

... and you don't have to thank her. Obviously you have deeper issues at hand if you live in a world where no one is congratulated for doing an excellent job. Some (and by that I feel very comfortable saying 'the playing majority) of us think that she does indeed do an excellent job and wish to say so.

In the spirit of keeping this a positive thread to discuss the accomplishments of someone, I would politely ask you take your negative views on this thread to PMs to whomever you think wants to engage you.

If someone quits because he was not being told constantly that he was doing a great job, then why was he doing all of that?To get praises and thanks?


Whatever, I`m not talking about Mesanna right now, I actually have never seen her in game, so I have nothing to build an opinion upon.

That last statement says it all. Quite frankly, if you don't have anything to build an opinion on, why are you so quick to offer it? It is amazing just how quickly you have invalidated everything you have previously said on this thread.

Exactly.But this only encourages us, as we know that there will be no one to comfort us if we fail, or to congratulate us if we do "an excellent job".
I don`t need anyone to tell me that I`m great and I`m doing the right thing.All I do is because I want to do it, and if I fail - it`s just another way to learn my weaknesses.Not a reason to run to my friends for encouraging words and comfort.

Possibly the most ridiculous thing ive ever seen a mod say (and ive seen some pretty ridiculous things posted by mods).

Thats the Stratics policy now is it? That you can only post on a thread if you AGREE with the title otherwise its off topic?

You are a UO forum moderator and should therefore understand the principle, whether it is on this forum or any other forum within the Stratics sphere.

Your statement was therefore utterly ridiculous and plain for all to see. Do our moderators really have such a poor understanding on how the UO forums are meant to work? Apparently yes.

WhityJinn and Crafstman, you both knew that talking bad about Mesanna (who you both do not know, therefore you shouldn't have came here in the first place) would pin the entire thread against you, causing an uproar. This is an appreciation thead, to pop in and say, "who is she and wtf did she do so great?" is pure trolling.

You have both stated your opinions, now leave it at that. I suggest everyone ignore them and no longer quote what they say, or they will not stop. Feel free to quote me and try to start me up, but i will not reply.
