My power just came back, with a few minutes left til Christmas. Amazingly, not only was the power back, but the net worked as well!
Many thanks to those who've sent me good wishes while we've dealt with the aftermath of Saturday's storm; it's been a few very cold days since then!
There's still a few thousand homes left in my area without power, but teams of linesmen from Michigan, New York, Quebec, and Ontario are pushing to try and get everyone turned back on by tomorrow night.
