[Discussion] Menaced by Minions!

Seven lines in Manticore's list, and a couple lines not found on the list, have managed to make me crazy. All of them involve minions. There's also almost nothing in the forum archives to help, for any of these. So here's a dump of what I know; maybe someone can help shed some light?

First up are two items I've seen, but which aren't on the list:

• A Crystal Pulled From One Of Orville's Minions
• A Crystal Pulled From The Skull Of One Of Orville's Minions

The only thing I can find anywhere online is a single post from 2010 which also was asking for info. Anyone know anything? [Discussion] - Info Hunting

Next up, also 2010, over on Catskills. Manticore lists:

• Catskills S8 - A Trapped Spirit Of A Lesser Minion Of Arkanin (6)
• Catskills S8 - Bottled Spirit Of A Greater Minion Of Arkanin (6)
• Catskills S8 - Bottled Spirit Of Arkinin's Elite Minion (6)

The thing is, I can't find the first two. 12 items, and I've seen none. What I have seen, however, is 3 different hues for "Bottled Spirit Of Arkinin's Elite Minion" - 343, 433, and 578 - and a couple of "Bottled Spirit Of Arkinin's Lesser Minion", all hue 53. Noone ever has actually posted as owning/buying/selling the Greater Minion item. As for the Lesser Minion item, only 2 posts:

• Slickjack's museum sale in [Auction] - Rares Museum: Part One - except confusingly, it was referred to both as "Bottled Spirit Of Arkinin's Lesser Minion" and "A Trapped Spirit Of A Lesser Minion Of Arkanin" there.
• @outcry's sale in [Price Check] - Inside The Bottle You See A Bloody Face Gnashing Its Teeth - The Trapped Souls Of Ark

What I can confirm is

• Bottled Spirit Of Arkinin's Elite Minion {in 3 different hues: 343, 433, 578}
• Bottled Spirit Of Arkinin's Lesser Minion {hue 53}

So was there also a "A Trapped Spirit Of A Lesser Minion Of Arkanin", and was there a "Bottled Spirit Of A Greater Minion Of Arkanin" at all? And if anyone owns either, can you please contact me?

Finally, the most confusing minions... Mesanna.

Manticore lists 4 of them, for a total of 56 items. I simply don't buy that 56 Mesanna minions exist. (sorry Manticore! )

• Catskills S8 - Mesanna's Minion (Statue) (1)
• Global S9 - Minion of Mesanna (2 Per Shard)
• Sakura S9 - Mesanna Minion (3)
• Izumo S12 - Mesanna's Minion (2)

The most useful post with info I can find is @shushu's, (Closed) Mesanna's Minion , where he gave this info:

• Baja(abyssal color, toy statue) name is Minion of Mesanna
• Chesapeake(abyssal color, female statue)
• Sakura(abyssal color, naked male statue)
• Yamato(abyssal color, female statue)
• Hokuto(blackrock golem color, female statue)
• Izumo(blue white color, female statue)

Gareth's lists in the item archives ID the spider as Catskills.

In [Discussion] - were these from?? Minion of Mesanna (2 Per Shard) , Olcher mentions that Origin also had that event (about the same time as Baja). I would guess the two shards had similar items, but it's only a guess.

In [Price Check] - 12/10 Yamato Event Item , shushu gave a count of 2 for the Yamato statue.

In [Selling] - Selling all my rares 11/2 UPDATE , shushu gave counts of 2 for Sakura (s10), Hokuto (s12), and Izumo (s12). Manticore and MMO極 UO 窃盗スキルが必要だったEMイベント(盗みイベント) both list Sakura as (3)s. That same goku595959 post ID's the Yamato statue as S9.

On Mesanna's Little Minion — UO Rares and Mesanna's Little Minion — UO Rares , Decadence lists the orange statue and a black one I've not seen as both being (1)s from Drach.

I'm guessing that I've not seen the Chesapeake one shushu mentioned.

1. Is Sakura correctly ID'd?
2. Is Hokuto correctly ID'd?
3. Is Origin correctly ID'd?
4. who owns the Chessie minion (and what is it named/hued/graphic?)
5. who owns the Drach Mesanna's Little Minion (black)?
6. are there any others I've missed?

Hey Brian, how many have you found of each type? Under the assumption that Manti's total is slightly off, are you sure there are 2 of each type listed above? I thought there were 2 per shard for the minions shaped like a small suit of armor, and the ones that look like dolls were bespoke for a specific event on few shards.

As far as I can see, that event with the small suits of armor only actually ended up happening on Baja and Origin?

As for which ones, I've seen the ones you now own at their various homes over the past year, plus possibly Tao's and Shu-chen's; I'm not sure if yours are those same minions or not. Yamato and Izumo I also saw at their EM rewards halls.
