Melee'ers stay away?

So I decided that I would raise my points up with the Garg queen and I was running through Ter Mur to see what would give me points. I had a good amount of success with everything else from fire daemons to anlorlem I think it's called.

So I notice some treefellow guardians in one area that I haven't explored lately and I see a couple of these kepetch and they target and come toward me. As usual I hit EoO/Con Weapon and target. Well it seems that either I was fighting some "super-kepetch" or my paladin forgot how to parry anything coming at her.My pally is 120 swords and parry with 30% dci,but this kepetch didn't miss me at all.

I checked the hunters guide and it states that the average wrestling skill for this mob is 110.4 and a max of 113.9. This is at least 6 skill points lower than my pally,yet it hit me every time.Is RNG is kicking my arse,or is there something I am overlooking? Or is this a Tamers/Caster mob to target?

Lol...some of that stuff can sneak up and pwn ya. Couldn't help but laugh the first time running thru Ter Mur...got pwned a few times in the most unexpected of places.

I guess I just got lazy. I have fought in Ter Mur against these kepetch,with my mage, and 2 fs's and I am looting them and moving on. Maybe some mobs are not as "user friendly" toward melee'ers as they are toward tamers and casters.

If you want to get alot of points fairly east go inside the Abyss and kill the Goblin mini champion spawn with a melee fighter.


Even better when you get the Goblin Slayer Talisman from the Underworld Quest. Equip that and use a Repond slayer weapon and you go trough the spawn like a knife trough butter. You might even get some arties out of it.
