melee ninja warriors! little help please :>

im new to hiding 13 yrs never had it on a character until now, i play many , many shards wanting a bit of info on some things....im working on templates to fight the mystic....BS
now you guys who play ninjas...(non archers)
1. most of ya run with no healing?
2. 4/6 chiv?
3. human or elf?
4. i have idea for a mystic deathstiker but dont know how well it would work...anyone tried it?
5. seems so far no parry, or even without high DCI hard to compete.. specially with the cheapazz mystic/bokuto peeps or mystic mages.. so overpowered..
6. do ya go for max dmg with gm track or just use human 20? but then you cant be elf...
7. favorite ninja deathstrike melee weps?
8. does backstab and suprise suck as bad as they seem? focus attack is ok but not worth the effort imho, very hard to time and navigate terrain vs. dmg output.

ahh that felt better..oh ya did i mention sleep? LOL talk about overpowering.. dont ya love not resisting it with 120 resist.

With 120 resist,you should have 100% chance to resist sleep.

hey dude i run an archer myself but have wondered same question. there is a guy on pac who runs basically what your talking about and he is pretty damn strong but i have no clue what his exact skill sets are. watched him last night fight coon stood his ground wasnt a samp that i could tell. and turn around and pvp as well and hold his own against a mystic mage. actually killed him then 3 shot some other dude. maybe if you got a tune on pac join gen chat and ask around i dont remember the guys name but i do know he was in SL

I wouldn't recommend running without healing. You could run high healing and no anat as human and do fine with aids. This will allow points for resist. Mystic ninja won't work because it's 240 points to make mystic worthwhile. Most people just use JoAT for the tracking portion.

why 120 healing?

1) i don't use healing, though i can use cat form to recover decent enough in many situations. there's a lot of ninja tactics to absorb/deflect damage
2) i do use 4/6 for the ninja abilities
3) elf mainly for the mana
4) haven't tried mystic on the ninja, but it does seem to have possibility
5) no parry, but mirror form can neuter the bokuto (basically like a 90% block chance)
6) maximum tracking here
7) i try to switch it up, feint is good, as is mortal. bokuto is ok, tekagi's talon strike has it use. tessen deflects a lot of damage. i like shadow strike weapons too.
8 - yeah, they suck. backstab costs more than armor ignore and does less damage, unless your target is low physical resist. surprise attack can catch mages off guard, but stealthing next to target is tough business -- though shadow jump is a good alternative. focus attack is ok, since it's only 6 mana, depending on weapon properties. ki attack i never had much luck with.

unless i truely get the dop on someone, i generally can't outright kill, but i do route most i attack, and can easily deflect any counterattack and disappear.

Hi i play ninja mele aswell stealther archer...

1). Never seen anyone running without healing, what is your heal possibility then???
2). I dont have any chiv or fc/fcr, couse u use mirror/animal form not so oft to get 4 slots on juwe. U can use smoke bomb and then animal form. I think its useless.
3). Elf for mana, and energy ressi cap, aswell night sight is nice if u dont have it on equip.
4). ATM u can forget such template couse u need a lot of skills and mods on equip and this is impossible now, maybe in some years if we get nore powerfull stuff and more slots.
5). No parry, but 45 dci is must to be have.
6).Tracking give u damage bonus on ds, but the prob is, u havent any scill points for it. Maybe if u put some skills on juwe, but in this case u have to sacrafice some another mods like dci or di or EP. 7). I personaly use hatchet, bone harvester and cleaver, just for para, bleed, disarm and ai.
8). All another ninja strikes are not really worth to use 'em, couse lot of mana and lower damage then ai.

100 hiding

20 tracking
