From this discussion, WAKA has agreed to hold some open Harrowers for the other side of the gate. The first one will be Saturday 08/28/10 at 7pm PST. Time for completion : ~1 hour or less
WAKA will provide one adviser to help guide the killing and the rest will be guarding against any invaders.
Recommended process for killing "Harrys":
The best current method is to have:
1-3 Tamers with dragon (1 beetle is very nice too). Controller templates should be Tamer mage with excellent mana regen to stand back and heal their respective overgrown newts.
Bush / Dexer (or sampires) with max mana/life/stamina leech hard hitting weapons on swamp dragons with armor.
Mystic Mages with excellent mana regen.
Discorders
1 Protector (preferrably a stealther)
Where ever the Harry spawns, the first task is to lead out any surrounding spawn. Do not kill it, lead it away so there is no re-spawn. Placement of the Harry is important, in the middle of a large clear area and not next to walls and such.
The group MUST party so that the cleansing winds of the Mystic Mages affects the area around the Harry, where the dexers and dragons will be killing it. All people can attack the first form but only a few (no more than 5) should attack the second form. This allows for better scroll control. All attackers of the 2nd form MUST be under protection. No-one hits the 2nd form without being protected, for maximum scroll gains. Both forms should be discorded.
Once the killing area is prepped, the dragons are set on the Harry. The tamers will do an "All Follow" and target the Harry. Then do an "All Kill" and target the Harry. Make sure to tell your pets to Guard you every once in a while.
Once the Dragon(s) are on the Harry, the Dexers attack, swarming around the Harry. The Mystic Mages can cast a RC but their primary job is to cast cleansing winds on the group.
When the first form is red lined, the tamers pull the dragons off the Harry and go to a pre-determined staging point. The Dexers finish the first form and then they and the Mystic Mages fall back to said point. The Tentacles of the Harrower ("Tents") will spawn around the area where the first form was killed. It is very important that everyone is at the staging point, which will be out of range of the Tents.
2 Mystic mages who are healing 2 weapon leech dexers will then attack the same tentacle at the same time..one at a time (they should be discorded). No-one else enters the area because the tents will leech their life and heal the tents being attacked.
Once the tents are dispatched, then the final attack on the 2nd form begins. This is the one where you keep the attackers at a minimum (dragons and 2 or 3 leech dexers). Mystic mages do their thing to keep the group healthy. Once the 2nd form dies, all scrolls are handed off to the protector, who then gets the scrolls to safety. When done correctly, there will be a total of 32 scrolls.Gold collection can be done at this time as well.
WAKA will leave once the area is clear of players. Disposition of the scrolls will be left up to the whims of the folks from the other side of the gate.
