Meet Boura and Boura

Hello all. Back to playing after a little 5 year break. And one thing I like on my return is Boura!

A couple days after discovering this new pet I've attached a pic of lore screen for the best Lowland and best High Plains that I've found.

I sure hit the jackpot on the resists with those two!

I look forward to taking them out to play... once bonded.

For now back to hunting with some disposable Boura. Ah who am I kidding, I'll do everything I can to keep any of my cute little Boura alive :]

Hmmm.. I think this Lowland is even better, even though he has the same 3.8 rating.

Lowlands bouras are a wonderful addition for training tamers because you can start hunting middle level things with almost no skill while practicing veterinary (up to one greater dragon in my experience but with high healing rate).

Previously there was a clear gap between the greater dragon skill level and the rest.

They can pass 600 hp (i had one with 606) and with pack instinct they manage to do a decent amount of damage.

While resistances are too low for bigger encounters, 2 trained lowland bouras are imho by far the best 4 slot pet in the game.

Looks like you got some nice ones! I love bouras too. Great pets for new tamer characters.

That EC lore gump sure looks sweet. Wish I could get the EC to run on this laptop. Used to use it occasionally on my old one but it always overheated it so much I could never stay longed on for long. On my newer one it freezes almost as soon as I log in a character so I can't even change any of the settings. Grrr.

I did an experiment last night with my elf-warrior that has zero taming-skills an no joat.

Well, he can control two bouras with no problems at all.

Now they are in stable, i have to check if they can bond.

For a pure warrior (no necro-chiv-mystic-whatever weirdness) the damage output of two bouras would be a wonderful boost.

When hunting for Bouras, I suggest that you also take up these Quests so you get more off your hunting time.....

Boura, Boura
Objective: Kill 20 ruddy boura or 15 lowland boura.

Boura, Boura, and more Boura
Objective: Kill 20 high plains boura.
