This may not be the best place for this, but im trying to work a delay into my steal macro. I want the delay to speak about the time that my skill timer is set so i know i can hide...and i can tack on a final little taunt before disappearing something similar to ...la.

I actually tried the support:
"How do I get the Delay to work in my macros? Everyone I ask is telling me to go third party, but I'd rather not. I found it in the macro option and i've put anywhere from 1 to 100000000000."

and the reply i got was:
"While we understand that you would like assistance with general in-game information; our support staff will be unable to assist you in creating macros. If you feel that you need help with these matters; please try to direct your questions to fellow players or use search engines on the internet to find assistance from fan-made sites.

I do understand your reluctance for third-party programs and these concerns are valid. Use of anything but the UO game clients or the program Ultima Online Assist can result in consequences to your account."

To this I just sent the reply:
"Thank you for confirmation that third party useage would come with consequences, how about an answer to my question?
Its a game function that I am requesting help with. Considering the rampant use of third party programs its rediculous that you're not interested in helping me avoid it. But questions like "how does anatomy work?" are answered in full.

Im not asking you to set up my macro, im asking you how the delay works."


I told him that the people i asked told me third party. Anyway i'm irritated and looking for an answer.

it can be done, but I'm not sure what the 'delay' measures in either. Best I can suggest is try it in your house till you get it right. Macro would be (I think!).

line 1 use skill - stealing.
line 2 last target
line 3 Delay - 100
line 4 Say - whatever
line 5 use skill - hiding.

To be honest I'd rather do 'use skill - stealing' 'last target' 'cast spell - invis' 'wait for target' 'target self' 'delay - 100' 'use skill - hiding'

Thats pretty much how im set up but i cant get the delay line to work.

Rather than invising i turn to ozzie form and run for my life. The macro i want is:
Use skill- stealing
last target
say- *kicks in the nuts*
arm right hand (faster casting book)
cast spell- animal form
delay- 10s
Say- (uh oh, time to disappear) im not sure what it'll say but it'll be my cue that my timer is up.

I used the one I listed with invis in and had it working. Invis self doesn't work unless you have 'wait for target' in it, the delay I put in as '100' and that works.

Petra Your the ****. And i feel like a ****** now that its working. I swear i tried everything from 1 to 10 to 1000000000.

heh, because I didn't know what the delay was measured in, I put it in as a 5 on friday question. The answer is on uo.com in today's questions

They said for say an 8 second delay you enter 160 so it's like 20 delay for 1 second
